This is the first Clematis variety introduced by Marginpar as a cut flower. It was introduced on the market by Marginpar BV in June 2006 and is being produced in Tanzania. The flowers are currently sold through FloraHolland Auctions and are being bought by buyers in exclusive markets.

Clematis 'Blue Pirouette' has an intense blue/purple colour.

Important information:

The vase life of this variety is very good provided it is treated correctly. It is important to cut the bottom end of the stems before Clematis is put on water. The use of clean water is important as well as the use of the right type of flower food. The food that should be used is "Chrysal Clear Universal". Other types of flower food could have a negative effect on the vase life of Clematis.
