The existing Hypericum FLAIR® varieties make up 85 % of the total Hypericum market. Marginpar holds the exclusive production and marketing rights of the new Hypericum FLAIR® varieties. Marginpar issues exclusive "growing licences" to farmers in Zimbabwe, South Africa, Kenya and Tanzania.

The first variety that was exclusively produced in Africa and marketed by Marginpar was Hypericum "Pinky Flair®". This variety has, over a period of five years, become the Hypericum variety most in demand in the market. The current market share of Hypericum Pinky Flair® is almost 40% and its average price is the highest of all Hypericum varieties.

Marginpar is the main supplier of Hypericum on the Dutch flower auctions.
